Featuring the excellent release Yield from Adrian Lim-Klumpes. Adrian’s unique sound, derived from a mixture of lyrical piano, jazz harmony and electro acoustic textures, shows the influence of John Cage, Bill Evans, Philip Glass, Steve Reich and Chris Abrahams. His music speaks to genres of minimalism, electronic music, post-rock and related sub-genres, jazz and modal improvisation, free improvisation, musique concrete, noise and drone, impressionism, serialism and the tradition of piano composition.

Aaron Martin and Dag Rosenqvist are back with a new EP as Mouth of The Sun. With ‘Sleep Stations’ the duo assures us that their exquisite palette of classical leaning, electro-acoustics reaped from their previous albums still leaves much to be explored. Simply gorgeous. As well Fabio Orsi, Seaworthy and Xiphiidae.

Ann Annie is an artist from Portland, Oregon and her creations are described (by herself) as textured landscapes, ambient atmospheres and noise to pass the time. I like that last part! Hence the title of this episode. There are also some links to some gorgeous clips of her using her modular synthesizer in an outdoor setting.
