Her songs are deeply personal and reflect on loss, love, listlessness and the shadows of despair. Her latest single, written on a tiny guitar (called a guitalelele) and using eclipse mints and hands scratching demin jeans for percussion, sees Christine Jane reinventing herself in the strange space betwixt trysts. Adam Pacione is a composer, sound artist, field recorder and photographer based in Fort Worth, Texas. I’ve followed his career since the start (his Heat EP featured on a very early edition of the original broadcast of the Quiet Space) and it’s a pleasure to focus on his latest release, Mâché.
