Sydney indie outfit Shrapnel started as the bedroom project of Sam Wilkinson (Day Ravies, Mope City, Beef Jerk) but soon morphed into a full band and are back with a stunning new track from their soon to be released album Alasitas on Tenth Court that splits the difference between pastoral psych folk and beguiling pop along the lines of Look Blue Go Purple. That being – the wavering perception of time and the impermanence of love, in an attempt to transcend the mundane. It’s a top notch release featuring an amazing array of talented musicians.
